Hi folks! Well, June is nearly here and so is the football.. so, June is the last Mouthful until August :-(
As usual we have Tim Hellzapoppin' and Kid Krupa on the wheels of stone laying down some killa' tunes; Jazz, Blues, Jump and Swing as well as Rhythm and Blues all on original 78's.

The beginning of the evening will see Gaia teaching you some moves that you can hit the dance floor with from 7.30pm all the way till 2am!

We also have a couple of very special birthdays this month. The wonderful Dave Piggott and Juliette Sugg will both be celebrating so cake and dancing are the order of the evening.

Well folks yet another fabulous evening is on its way with our DJ's playing the most killa tunes in London that you will ever hear, all on 78's too! 

This month we have guest DJ Stomp Down Geoff as well as our hot regulars; Kid Krupa & Tim Hellzapoppin. 

This month will see Emma's birthday in full swing so if you're a regular please do put on your flowery shirt or bonnet. 

I'm not giving away her age but we have decided to call it Hawaii 5-0.

As you know Mouthful is London's hottest event for music lovers and dancers alike, people try to copy us but a pastiche is still a pastiche, we are the real deal.

Beginning of the night will see Gaia teaching a few steps and getting ya hot to trot from 7.30pm entry just £7 all evening....now that's value!

Well, the end of the year is coming fast and the cold weather is upon us. All that said it's going to yet another hot one at Mouthful where the heat gets turned up. 
This month we have Mr. Pucci "DJ Dynomeastro," turning the wick up with our usual crew Tim Hellzapooppin', Kid Krupa and Swing Maniac playing all original 78 rpm records.

The beginning of the evening will see you learning beginners swing dance with a lesson from Gaia so you can shake a leg during the evening. After the lesson the dance will start and go right along until 2am. Entry is just £7 all in, so see you there. :-)

Swing Dancing in North London!

Mouthful O' Jam February is our official 5th birthday. 
OK.... so, we did do a few one off's prior to 5 years ago that turned into a monthly event but we decided February is our official yearly celebration.

On the decks well we have Tim Hellzapoppin'. Stomp down Geoff and myself Swing Maniac playing the hottest tunes in town on 78 rpm records so grease your shoe leather and have those fire extinguishers at the ready.

The beginning of the evening see the birthday Gal Gaia teaching the beginners class and getting you ready to strut your stuff. Entry is £7

MOUTHFUL O' JAM, 2015!

So January will see the New Year in with style, ok well a few days late, but it's a Saturday and well you have Sunday to recover. Taking the lead will be DJ stomp down Geoff Amabilino, Kid Krupa and Tim Hellzapoppin' and Richard Pucci chucking hot Jazz, Swing, Jump, Blues and Honkin' Rhythm & Blues right atcha!

Early on at the beginning of the evening have a relax at the bar, perhaps some wonderful pub grub, then get some moves with dance instructor Gaia. We open at 7.30pm so come in settle down and get ready. The pub will only be open till 1am on the 3rd, so make sure you get down early to have enough time to get warmed up!
Judging by how the most recent Mouthfuls have been you are in for a hot and entertaining night £7 entry all evening.

We will focus on laying strong foundations in the language of Swing Dancing.
Strengthen your style, your moves and your dance confidence.

By the end of this class you'll have a solid grasp of Lindy Hop rhythm & musicality,
connection, and a grab bag of moves that you can pull out on any dance floor.
This dance will have you smiling, sweating, and wishing for more!
Musicality and passion for the dance is my main focus in teaching.

After an awesome start to the new year with January and February, Mouthful is being packed not only with people but excitement! We plan to do it all over again. Please note this is the last Mouthful until May as we miss a month in April due to a venue booking. As usual we have hot Jazz, Swing, Jump, Blues and anything else we can get you to dance your socks off to and keep you on the floor all night. Tim Hellzapoppin', Kid Krupa and myself Swing Maniac will be keeping the decks cooking. There is as usual a dance lesson but we haven't confirmed which instructor as yet but we will keep you posted. The lesson starts around 7.30ish then we go on until 2am for the dance and still only £5 all night. This class will be once a week for 5 weeks from 8pm-9:30pm, Thursday evenings starting on the 4th of November 2010.
