The beginning of the evening will see Gaia teaching a beginners Swing Dance lesson to those who want some new and hot moves.

Hi all, so, on the 6th of February we are 6 years old! Also, this is our first Mouthful O' Jam of 2016.
I'm really looking forward to getting the gtimang back and spinning a few hot platters. 
This moth we have the usual crew; Tim Hellzapoppin', Kid Krupa and myself Swing Maniac with our very own special guest DJ Stomp Down Geoff. 
We shall be playing everything from early Hot Jazz, Swing, Jump Blues and anything else we have stored away. 

So ladies and gents dust off your shooby dooby's and get hot to trot!

At the beginning of the evening there will be a swing dance lesson for beginners or those who want to brush up on basic technique from 7.30pm then onto the dancing and revels after.

Mouthful O' Jam December 14th is going to be a real seasonal corker, as not only is it our Christmas Special, it is also our 4th year anniversary! The evening is going to kick off at 7.30 when our American swing dance instructor will teach you to shake your shimmy to the hot music and revels the evening has to offer. After the lesson the dancing starts and our underground DJ's Tim Hellzapoppin, Kid Krupa and Swing Maniac will take you through your paces, in fact these guys are so far underground they are going to kick your butt over to the dark side, playing original 78rpm recordings on vintage equipment, where jazz, swing, jump and blues are the order of the day. If you need a rest and you will need a rest you can sit, relax and chat in the chit chat chatty area to re-coup in the best original tavern in town. Then you can go back into the fray and dance to the most killa' music your ears have ever heard. Later on from 11.30, a late set by the best jazz band in town 'The Dakota Jim Band' feat Ewan Bleach on sax, Dakota Jim on accordion and clarinet and Louisa on vocal. Summer is still here and things are heating up for our August Mouthful O' Jam. On the decks featuring: Tim Hellzapoppin', Kid Krupa, Creole Gal and Swing Maniac keeping you moving and shaking a foot or 2 all evening. Original 78 rpm records form the 1920's 30's and 40's to keep your spirits alive. From 7.30pm our American Swing dance instructor will show you the ropes with a starter lesson in Swing dance. Hot Jazz, Swing, Jump, Blues to keep you dancing is the order of the evening. As usual tell us if it's your Birthday as we can reserve a table and the Birthday Girl or Boy gets in free.

After an awesome start to the new year with January and February, Mouthful is being packed not only with people but excitement! We plan to do it all over again. Please note this is the last Mouthful until May as we miss a month in April due to a venue booking. As usual we have hot Jazz, Swing, Jump, Blues and anything else we can get you to dance your socks off to and keep you on the floor all night. Tim Hellzapoppin', Kid Krupa and myself Swing Maniac will be keeping the decks cooking. There is as usual a dance lesson but we haven't confirmed which instructor as yet but we will keep you posted. The lesson starts around 7.30ish then we go on until 2am for the dance and still only £5 all night.
