Hi folks, well Mouthful is having yet another little party and we would like you to join us.

As you regular Mouthful folks know we have built up an amazing night both socially and musically.

Come in through the front entrance and talk to the door staff about your woes and troubles then leave them right there.

Have a chat to friends old and new in our social area whilst the amazing music and sound system envelope you and if you like to dance your socks off to music you have never heard before, thats just fabulous as we have plenty of that too.

Yes, that's right, the amazing DJ's are huge music fans and big collectors who want to give you the opportunity to listen to the records they have amassed over the years. The Genres are Jazz 1920's through the 40's; Jump Music to Swing Jazz with the occasional cheeky little latin number thrown in.

Be marvelled how good this sounds on shellac 78 with the best specific system around utilising vintage decks, 3 valve amps and specialised speakers. Yes folks, the sound is amazing!

Our house DJ's Tim Hellzapoppin', Kid Krupa and a special guest will certainly show the others how its done.

Gaia and Aki will be back from their sojourn so will teach some great steps from 7.30pm with a fun beginners swing dance class.

All this for just £7 all evening including the class.

Yes folks it is not only the best value for money event in London but the best vintage dance event in London. People have tried to emulate but never got anywhere close.

- Frame between lead and follow
- Basic Balboa steps for lead and follow
- The concept of "language" of Balboa
- Intro into a basic Balboa move

Week two:
- Basic Balboa steps review
- Frame review
- Move review
- Basic Balboa "come around"

Week three:
- Intro to footwork variations in the basic
- Review of "come around"
- Building onto the "come around"
- Intro into transitions

Week four:

- Using transitions to create dynamic leading and following

- How to incorporate basic moves through transitions

Week five:
- Reviewing transitions
- Transitioning moves together
- Combining all moves and basics

Learn the partner dance that started them all in this intensive 5 week beginners class.
We will focus on laying strong foundations in the language of Swing Dancing.
Strengthen your style, your moves and your dance confidence.

By the end of this class you'll have a solid grasp of Lindy Hop rhythm & musicality,
connection, and a grab bag of moves that you can pull out on any dance floor.
This dance will have you smiling, sweating, and wishing for more!
Musicality and passion for the dance is my main focus in teaching.

March IS mad!

Mouthful O' Jam March is going to put a spring in your step and make you feel that the sun may actually poke it's head out at some point this year. As usual our hot 78 DJ's will get you moving and keep you there all night with the hottest vintage tunes around. The dance lesson starts at 7.30 pm with our wonderful dance instructor who will take you through your paces and give you all you need to dance socially. Entry only £7!
